Sometimes doing what we love comes at an enormous price. This is a lesson I have learned over the past five years as a fitness professional. Beyond the normal flurry of day-to-day activities, like shopping for groceries and paying bills, my life seemed to be encompassed by work. And while my passion pushed me to continue forward as a professional in the fitness industry, my pocket book required me to take on a heavy load of extensive training hours and additional jobs to keep my income steady.
As many trainers can profess, the fitness industry can demand long hours; waking up early mornings before the sun rises and returning home exhausted late in the evening. My days began at 3:30 AM so that I could make it to the gym ready for my first client at 5 AM. After seeing 10-12 clients a day, I would stumble home from the gym and start my next job as an online adjunct professor where I would teach my courses until around 11 PM, only to fall into bed, looking forward to repeating my hectic schedule. And if that were not enough, while many of my friends were able to enjoy their relaxing weekends, I found myself traveling across the country teaching workshops for NASM one to two times a month. Again, my love of fitness kept me going, but like anyone else, I was looking for a way to work smarter and not harder!
Fortunately, I found my reprieve from the hectic work schedule with the Health & Fitness Provider Network. Using the HFPN online solution, I have been able to create and grow my own business and take control of my life.

As a health fitpro, I now have the time and income to enjoy my friends and family and finally sleep in!
